Traxstech Gimbal Mounts - GM

Traxstech offers a wide variety of gimbal mounts. 

Designed to work in conjunction with flush-mounted rod holders.

Our pre-drilled and tapped gimbal Mount allow easy installation of Traxstech, Canon, Big John, Scotty, Vector, Walker and Penn brand downriggers.

Our Traxstech 6" track can also be mounted into different directions on the top plate of the gimbal to give a wider range of use.

Such as a single rod holder, two, three or four-rod holder trees in vertical or horizontal options, our downrigger swivel base or anything else we offer.

The uniqueness of adapting fishing equipment to a gimbal Mount allows an easy installation.

When not in use, the gimbal can be removed to return the boat to its original condition.

We do strongly suggest to look under the gunwale and make sure the flush-mount you are using is securely bolted.

GM-100 / 30 Degree Gimbal Mount

• 30 degree angled gimbal mount drilled and tapped.

STGM-100 / 90 Degree Straight Gimbal Mount with 1-1/2 Inch Diameter Tube

• 90-degree straight gimbal mount drilled and tapped.
• 1-1/2" diameter x 10-1/2" tube.
• Hitch pin included.

STGM-100-175 / 90 Degree Straight Gimbal Mount with 1-3/4 Inch Diameter Tube

• 90-degree straight gimbal mount drilled and tapped.
• 1-3/4 inch diameter x 13-inch tube.
• Hitch pin included.

Angled Gimbal with Track

If the flush mount is pointed straight out the back parallel with the gunwale, then the fixed position gimbal will work for you.

As always, everything we make will slide into and securely fasten in the track.

Rod holders, grill, a cleat with bumper and tool/beverage holders are just a few of the great combinations for the following units.

Traxstech delivers a 30 Degree Adjustable Gimbal Mount with a variety of sizes and options.

Designed to work in conjunction with flush-mounted rod holders. If your flush mounts are not parallel with the gunwale, you can use an adjustable gimbal to line up the track to where you want by moving the track in the direction you want.

The uniqueness of adapting fishing equipment to a gimbal mount allows an easy installation.

When not in use, the gimbal can be removed to return the boat to its original condition.

Hitch pin included in all models.
