The Chamberlain Stacker Downrigger Release from Northern Strike features easy to use vertical and horizontal adjustments for precision settings no matter what species your fishing for. Tension is adjustable from 0 to 4.5 lbs. and the use of magnetics on the horizontal adjustment assures a fluid and accurate release. The precision design of the Chamberlain Downrigger Release minimizes false releases and is small fish friendly. The stacker feature allows placement at any point on the downrigger cable.

Best release ever!
0 people found this helpfulWe recently purchased a pair of these and have been using them for the first time this year. After a very short learning curve we got them dialed in and have used them with great success on everything from kokanee to lake trout. The one thing we had to alter from the original instructions is to use a few more twists in the line (10) before attaching because we're running Spiderwire Stealth Braid and it's pretty slippery. We highly recommend them! -

Have had numerous downriggers: Cannon manual, Scotty manual, Scotty electric, and Cannon Electric with their releases as well as some others. Started using Chamberlain about 5 or 6 years ago. These are the best releases bar none. To have a string release force on the pole but a very light to heavier release on the line has a amazing affect on fish that "do not" get away. I am about to try the stacker release. If they are half as good ans the normal release. I will be very happy. BTW: My doubting Thomas fishing buddy has now also converted to these. Told you Vance! :-) -

1 people found this helpfulIf you’re tired of false releases and braided line popping out of the downrigger clips then this is what you need if stacking lines in your cable…completely adjustable and works amazingly well…I’ll never switch back to regular clips! -

1 people found this helpfulThis is the best release because you can adjust the tension in two directions: 1. Tension toward the lure, and 2. Tension upwards toward the rod.
