Vicious Fishing Line

If you were to look up “American Dream”, you could very well see the story of Vicious Fishing. The brand was born when a small team sat around a table looking at logos and dreaming of what could be if a quality product with a fair price were brought to market with a cool name and logo. This was in the Spring of 2006 – just one year after purchasing the National Fishing Line Company in Dora, AL and having the original brand fail. But failure was not an option for this team. In July of 2006, the team headed to ICAST in Las Vegas full of excitement and high expectations but had no formal product presentation and no sales to speak of. But they shook a lot of hands, talked about the brand vision and did what they could to get noticed. By the end of the show, the industry liked what they saw – a group of outdoor-loving people that wanted to bring fishing products to those that desired high quality at a good price but with a brand they could feel proud to carry. We had caused a little ripple in the industry. In January of 2007, the first boxes of Vicious Fishing branded line were shipped to some independent retailers – many of which are still with us today. And since that time the company has been fortunate to make some great friends, find some loyal customers and grow despite the odds. In the fall of 2018, the brand was sold to Cypress Creek Outdoors, LLC in Newburgh, IN. Cypress Creek Outdoors is owned and operated by long time Vicious Fishing employees, Greg and Cori Meunier. For them, the "American Dream" is just beginning. They aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and will continue to deliver the quality, prices and service the Vicious Fishing brand has been known for over the last decade.
