1 people found this helpfulThe StrikerICE Men’s Hardwater Jacket is an outstanding piece of cold-weather gear. It is extremely warm and does an excellent job blocking wind and retaining heat, even in harsh conditions. The insulation is impressive enough that wearing a hoodie or extra layers underneath isn’t necessary, though the jacket is sized generously and still fits comfortably if you choose to layer.
The pocket layout is very well thought out, with plenty of storage that’s easy to access while wearing gloves. Everything feels durable and well-constructed, making it clear this jacket is built for serious use. The fit is true to size, allowing good mobility without feeling bulky or restrictive.
Overall, this jacket delivers exceptional warmth, comfort, and functionality. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality jacket for ice fishing or extreme cold weather, the Hardwater Jacket is a great investment and performs exactly as advertised. -

Warm and Durable
0 people found this helpfulI also have the Predator series and this one is warmer with more pockets. This really only needs a base layer under for all day comfort in the coldest temps. Stops wind completely and will be the only jacket you need for ice fishing and snow blowing. -
Runs BIG
0 people found this helpfulI'm not new to Striker Ice, but it's not even close...runs BIG. I've always gotten a large in everything...even Striker Ice. This one engulfed me, and there is also no taper in the jacket from chest to waist. Just like a brick. Medium barely fits right even after down sizing. Not happy how they've decided to do their sizing and designs now.
