In stock
This easy-to-use, high quality & affordable bucket scaler is the best on the market! Place 30-50 fish in pail according to size. Fill pail with water 8 inches above fish. Using a variable speed drill, begin scaling fish, moving the drill up & down slowly for approximately 3 minutes. Do Not Over Scale or Over Crowd! When finished, pour fish over 3/4 inch screen (a box 12 x 24 with screen bottom, 1 x 4 inches deep, works fine). The H & H Scaler Functions include: Scale Perch, Blue Gills, 8-10 Suckers & Smelt. Clean Horse Radish - Cut Horse Radish in small pieces with drill at high speed. Mash tomatoes for juice making. To Clean & Care for your scaler, remove liner, turn pail over and knock out liner. Rinse with clean water and air dry.

terrific
0 people found this helpfulI couldn’t open the review page but the bucket scaler is terrific. My 20 volt driver didn’t have enough power to run it with 21 blue gills but I used my 110 hammer drill and it scaled them clean as a whistle in just a few minutes. Love it. Then put them in a large dip net and washed away all the scales.

Bucket
1 people found this helpfulIt took some experimenting. 40 bluegills. I started out too slow for 5 minutes. Didn't take off much. Long story short. I did 8 minutes on a decent speed. Maybe 3/4 speed on regular bosh battery drill. Dumped off water. Ran hose into the bucket to flush off any loose scales. Also at no time did I damage the bodies of the fish. Maybe with more experience I will get the time lower.
