Hareline Pseudo Hackle Fly Tying Material

Pseudo Hackle is a synthetic material that can replace hackle feathers on larger flies. The fibers of Pseudo Hackle are strung on each side. To use it, cut one side of the strung material off (the part that binds the fibers together). You can cut it to provide the hackle length and taper you desire. Then, wrap the Pseudo Hackle on your fly like a natural hackle feather. Pseudo Hackle adds a shiny, slightly flashy look to your old patterns and is extremely durable. It looks great on Wooly Bugger type flies and all sorts of streamers.
