Cannon Rail Mount Adapter

The adapter came with all the necessary hardware. The hardware is all stainless steel, as it should be. I would strongly recommend that you use an anti-seize lubricant made for stainless fasteners on the threads. Threaded stainless fasteners have a tendency to “gall” when tightening OR loosening them! Once they gall and seize up, you will cutting the fastener in half to remove it (ask me how I know!). You won’t get it out!! Next, use a #3 Phillips screw driver on the fasteners. If you don’t have one, get one! If you use a standard #2 that everyone has in their tool box, you will have the heads of the fasteners all messed up and won’t get them tight enough. Also, I did not use the extra two fasteners that are to be tightened directly into the chrome rail on the boat. I couldn’t bring myself to gouge up the rail with a bolt being driven right into it.
